Yoga classes for schools are designed according to age and grade. Candace will work with children ages 2-18, with the length of each class and size dependent upon grade level. Yoga classes can be incorporated into the school day or as after school programing.
Classes are one hour long (this varies for children 6 and under). Children will be invited to connect to a story that will be used as a starting point for the class. In addition to yoga, children will work on breathing techniques, mindfulness, and visualizations. The conclusion of class involves either art or journaling activity based on the lesson.
